BioYes, that's right. I have fallen into the LJ world. With the influence of my bf, Peter, and my long LJ blogging buddies, Kate and Neil, I've decided to create an account and spill my thoughts, complaints, comments, ideas onto these many wonderful pages.
I'm a 20 year old graduate from UT Austin with big dreams and a big heart. I prepared myself for law school, was admitted, and all this only to decide to decline my admissions and scholarships. In a year's time, I'll be back in school and ready to take on the world of study once more. But, for now, I'm happier than I could have ever imagined. I was hired at a large non-profit organization that allows me to work in a field that I'm comfortable and familiar with and allows me to utilize the experiences I've had in past internships. I start on Monday, so look forward to reading my updates during this phase of my life, where a new chapter begins.
My life is my love and all things that bring out my passion. I fell in love with one of my best friends, a guy that I always thought would be the perfect pair to me, provided we had the opportunity. Six years of friendship and "bad timing" later, we went out on our first date, largely on a whim and by chance. Then, the rest is history, and now, we're in love and making some rather life-changing plans together. He's both been a source of peace and excitement, being an ideal compliment and better half to me. I truly believe that we are the only people on earth that can stand and understand one another, thus, we're perfect for each other. Now that we live together, I can't imagine spending a night without him and he's been my source of happiness since the day we began dating. He makes me happy to be me, and his companionship make life so much easier to live through.
The friends in my life make me smile and remember that everyone needs time to relax. They have been my support and trusting companions as long as I've known them. I have the best friends any person could possibly ask for, and I do my best to return the favor to them. They advise me with their experience and knowledge, allowing me to make my own mistakes along the way, but don't look down on me for my lack of years on this earth. They keep me on my toes, and their considerate, caring, trusting personalities remind me that good people still exist.
In a nutshell, I'm a far too energetic, happy, hyper, giggly little gal that loves all the things that make the days worth living. However, under certain circumstances, I have also been known to have quite a temper and I've no problem sharing that with anyone who deserves it. There's much to me that can only be revealed through time and long conversations, and I've more interests than one would imagine. But, I live, learn, love, and laugh, and that's what matters.
